Over the past few months I’ve heard people talking about the Instant Pot and how much they love them. This year my New Year’s resolution was to continue working on myself getting more organized and eating healthier. So, i decided to ask for the Instant Pot for Christmas. It’s made cooking at home soo much easier and a lot faster. It’s faster cooking at home using my IP than running to get fast food. Plus, its healthier and not a headache dealing with traffic!!
I’ve made two big changes this year with my resolution. First, I track and write down everything I eat. This sounds like a pain but its really been a big part of my success. The weeks I faithfully write things down are the weeks I do past. To make it easier on myself, I made myself a cheat sheet/laminated it and stuck it inside my cabinet. It helps me with the basic IP timing and my measurements to measure out certain ingredients.
First, I printed out my measurements/IP cooking times.
Next, I inserted my print out inside my Scotch thermal laminating pouch (which btw…for the laminator and 100 laminating sheets I got for under $34!!).
I ran my sheet through the laminator which only took a few seconds.
Once it went through the laminator, I cut off the extra laminate sheet. You can the use tape or blue sticky on the back of the sheet and hang it where is most convenient for you!
I’ve noticed all the little changes I’ve been making are adding up to becoming more organized overall. These changes have made a HUGE difference! Every little thing adds up even if it seems like something so little…it’s crazy what a difference it makes on every day life. 🙂
